Count the sheep.

Remembered the little kid,

When he couldn’t sleep.

Count the tiles.

Did the adolescent

When she was bored in class.

Count the relationships.

Did the young man,

When he went to university.
Count the proposals.

Said the relatives,

For she was of marriageable age.

Count the money.

It was a burden.

For they were to start a family.
Count the minutes.

For their children were away.

They expected the phone call.

Count the breathes.

Waited the old man,

Maybe, death will come to him soon.
